The Color Palette: Where Art and Fashion collide

Art and Fashion are different worlds but a few aspects unite artists like Geta Brătescu and Akris creative director Albert Kriemler: Their atelier is the sacred space where everything is possible. And both work with a distinct sense of color and lines.

Painters will use lines and colors to structure their art. Fashion works with lines to create the silhouette of a look. Striking colors give life to any look. The thrill of experimenting freely in their ateliers unites artists and designers.  Albert Kriemler was inspired by Geta Brătescu’s sense of colors in her pictureThe Rule of the Circle, The Rule of the Game”. The circular shape evokes the outline of a classical painter´s tool, the color palette, and inspired Albert Kriemler to create a wide A-line skirt and a wool georgette tunic blouse. Wear it with a cashmere knit pullover and a short jacket in cotton denim for a cool vibe.

Teal, the key hue in the Circle print, creates a great base to mix with neutral shades and print. Wear the Circle Print taffeta parka with a its tunic blouse and a slim pant in cotton techno stretch. Play with texture and pair the nubuck leather blouse with kimono elbow sleeves and a crêpe pant. And there is no more refined way to relax than boarding the plane that takes you to your vacation in a cashmere silk knit coat, V-neck pullover and cashmere stretch drawstring pant.
