Returns/Exchanges

You may return or exchange regular items from your order within 14 days of receiving them. Separate provisions apply to customized items (details can be found in the relevant paragraph below). All purchases on sale items are final; items cannot be returned or exchanged. If you ordered multiple items and they ship in separate packages, we will gladly accept returns within 14 days of when you receive the last shipment from your order. Merchandise that has been worn, used, altered or damaged will not be accepted. Security tags and labels should not be removed. How do I return or exchange an item ordered via Akris.com?
- Complete the return form on this link:

- Once your return has been approved, you will receive the return label.

- Prepare your package: Place your item in its original packaging and with the original receipt.

- Put the pre-paid label you received in the e-mail on your package: Cover old address labels with the new pre-paid label and securely seal your package with tape.

- Deliver your package to UPS: Drop your package off at any UPS store or pick-up location.

The Akris customer service team will make every effort to resolve any refund/exchange request and an email notification and/or phone call will be placed once the return/exchange has been processed. Akris will not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation in the event that a return package is lost, stolen, or mishandled.

Exchanges will be refunded back to the original payment method, and then the new item will be charged to the credit card (unless it is a simple size exchange).

Shipping and Delivery

All purchases made on Akris.com will be shipped via UPS. In case of any unexpected delay we will inform the customer. Purchases with more than one product may be shipped in separate boxes. In that case separate delivery notification emails with the tracking number for each parcel will be sent. Purchases may not be shipped to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Akris.com is based on fulfilment processes based out of the US, Europe, Switzerland and Japan. At the moment we serve the following areas: USA and Canada (only on our US shop).

The following regions are served on our EU shop (English) or DE shop (German): 
Switzerland, all countries of the European Union, Norway,  Principality of Liechtenstein, Great Britain, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan (only on our JP shop), Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Lebanon, Southafrica (8 of 9 provinces - except Gauteng).

Customers in all the above countries do not have to pay customs duties - Akris organizes customs clearance and covers the cost of it (also in case of a return).

We will make every effort to ship to addresses outside of these regions, but we reserve the right to refuse orders there if circumstances beyond Akris' control require us to do so. Shipping Methods and Fees

Complimentary shipping on orders $600 and up. $50 flat fee shipping (delivery in approx. 3-5 business days) for orders under $600. If you need your order to arrive on a specific date, please contact our customer service and we will try our best to ensure the timely delivery.

Customized Items: Shipping & Return

Please note that customized items (like personalized straps or bags with personalized straps) cannot be returned or exchanged.

These items can only be returned to us if there is a manufacturing defect or if Akris made an error in processing the order.

Personalized items will be delivered in approx. 3-4 weeks.

Tracking

Akris will send shipping confirmation via email as soon as the purchase has been shipped; this will allow you to track the status of your shipment on www.ups.com.

Purchasing

Purchases for product on the Akris e-commerce site may be made either directly through Akris Inc. or through the assistance of our online personal shoppers who respond to your order.

Online purchases on the Akris site may be made by residents of the U.S. or Canada with U.S or Canadian ship to addresses. Purchasing from other countries is possible in-store at our boutiques worldwide.

If you are under the age of 18, Akris requires that you inform a parent or guardian about the Akris customer service policy and provide parent or guardian written consent.

Cancellations/Order Modification

If you wish to cancel or modify your order, an email must be sent to ecom.us@akris.com.  Akris will make every effort to accommodate your request. Once an online order has been placed and submitted, Akris cannot guarantee the purchase can be cancelled or modified.

Product Availability

Akris products as shown on the Akris e-commerce site are subject to availability; and Akris reserves the right to limit the quantity of products supplied and sold.  Akris boutique GmbH will make every effort to accommodate all product requests. However, it is possible that although you have received the order confirmation, the item may be no longer available. The item on the order will be cancelled as soon as possible and you will be informed by e-mail. Claims for damages due to late and non-delivery are excluded. Payments already made will be refunded.

Pricing

Prices listed for Akris product on the website are in U.S. dollars. Title to products ordered and purchased on this website passes to you upon delivery provided that we have received payment in full for the products.

Akris Inc. does not offer price adjustments; all pricing is as listed in the e-commerce shop.

Payment

Akris accepts the following forms of payment for online purchases:

  • PayPal
  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express

The transaction will be charged to your credit card once we have verified your card details, received credit authorization and confirmed stock availability.  Approved returns or exchanges will be credited to the card used for the purchase.

Sales Tax

Akris charges state, local and county taxes of the addressee’s location for online transactions, as required by applicable laws.

Please note your on-screen transaction total reflects estimated sales tax. Once your “ship to” address has been entered, the actual sales tax will be calculated and may vary from the estimated tax.

Alterations

As we greatly value our customers, we offer premium customer service. All Akris and Akris Punto items purchased from our online boutique can be submitted to any Akris boutique in Europe or in the USA (accompanied by the purchase receipt) for alteration. For a listing of Akris boutiques our complimentary alteration services are applicable, please go to any boutique location.

Our professional alteration teams will be pleased to fulfil your alteration requests. Items purchased at the full price are eligible for free alteration. Reduced items can be altered against payment of a fee.
