Be The Woman Who Gets What She Wants

Be The Woman Who Gets What She Wants

When Geta Brătescu created her famous collage “Portrait”, she reduced it to a maximum of irreverence: It is all lips and eyes. Find out why Albert Kriemler loves this painting so much he made it the center of  Resort 19.

Lips and eyes in bold Pop-Art colors, with an undulating black frame, at a second glance revealing itself as a shock of hair, this is the iconic collage « Portrait » by romanian artist Geta Brătescu, who inspired Albert Kriemler for his collection.  Geta Bratescu’s mission in art was to bring joy to our lives. «I was thrilled by the striking colors in her work and how she loved to play. I wanted to translate this spirit of lightness into my Resort 19 collection. This painting sums up her personality.» says Albert Kriemler. « When asked about the woman on the picture, she said : It is the portrait of a woman who gets what she wants ».

Wear the cotton voile « Portrait » blouse and the statement cashmere double-face reversible knit cape and head for a weekend of playfulness and ease. Balance with smart and practical pants in non-colors such as kraft or black. Or opt for the topper, this season´s example of those magic 2-in-1 coats Albert Kriemler loves to create, in cashmere and lurex taffeta. Pair with the new Ai messenger 3-D « Portrait » print bag in cervocalf leather. It fits with your get-what-you-want « Portrait » styles or it lights up your neutrals.
