Rendered with a painterly intensity that appears divined from nature's most saturated and exquisite hues, Akris colors stand out. Albert Kriemler and his team constantly develop new hues, that do not exist on the market, like a particular shade of blue that has been a throughline in his collections for years. It was created in 2007 to match the blue of the sea at the Marina Grande on the island of Capri, Italy. Likewise, Monaco Green, developed for the Spring 2012 collection.
A Creative Interaction
Every fabric takes dyes differently. Not all colors work in every material. When selecting fabrics, Albert Kriemler and his team always have color in mind. "I love colors, but which color you choose is ultimately a question of definition and in which fabric the color looks best," he says.
